In this class you will explore movement with a revolutionary YogiGym® Suspension System both on the ground and in the air. Students will discover how inversions and aerial movements decompress the spine, strengthen the core and increase joint mobility through deep stretching. With the support of handles, a sling and customized height settings, students will also find that advanced yoga poses will become more accessible. This class will leave you feeling invigorated, inspired, energized and relaxed.

HOT YOGA FUSION

These classes will be a mix of yoga poses, functional movement, and body resistance training designed to increase your heart rate and shape the body. Each class will be a total body workout with an emphasis on specific small muscular groups to focus on every week. This class is accessible to all levels as modifications will be given throughout the practice. Get ready to bring an open mind, a willingness to explore, and your hard working nature to your mat – and for the burn!

YIN YOGA

with Reiki energy healing

Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels of students. Yin targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that are not normally exercised in more active styles of asana practice. Helps restore the body. A relaxed, meditative yet challenging practice where postures are held for longer periods of time.

This class is infused with Reiki Therapy, an energy healing technique that uses “hands-on” and also “hands-off” healing. It is a natural process that supports relaxation and healing by removing blocks to the flow of energy in your body and facilitates balance, physical restoration, emotional well-being, stress reduction and mental clarity.

PILATES

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. Mainly focuses on core muscles including abdomen, low back and hips. No previous experience required.

YANG YIN YOGA

This class blends two styles of yoga; hatha and yin harmonizing the mind and body. The first half of the class embodies the aspects of a yang practice with a more gentle approach than a typical hot yoga class. Warm up poses to begin and the majority of the class being more stretching style poses with very little strength building poses…a truly “juicy” experience. Next we will allow the body to melt through yin style postures, working through deeply held tension all while practicing inner stillness and proper relaxation techniques through breath work (pranayama) instilling a meditative practice.

ASHTANGA

An Ashtanga primary series based flow. The class combines yoga breathing technique (Ujjayi breath), sun salutations, and vinyasas to encourage the creation of space with the body, mind and nervous system. It leads students to develop strength, endurance, flexibility proper alignment and grow in their own practice. Some experience recommended. New students please listen to your body and rest whenever you need to.

POWER FLOW

Power Flow classes are lively, energetic, flowing classes synchronizing breath with movement. Build strength, flexibility, and concentration. These classes are unique as they do not follow a set sequence of postures. Each class is different and will vary from teacher to teacher. You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work.

HOT VINYASA FLOW

In this class, flow constantly with breath connecting postures with movement. Challenge yourself to this fun class that works your entire body! Some experience recommended. New students make sure keep hydrated and take rest whenever need to.

VINYASA FLOW

A dynamic Vinyasa style yoga philosophy using pranayama breath techniques to encourage the creation of space with the body, mind and nervous system. Each class will have a slightly different emphasis leading students to develop strength, endurance, proper alignment and grow in their own practice.

HOT FLOW

A flowing hot class infusing Hatha and Vinyasa aimed at strengthening and opening the body. The class may incorporate sun salutations and flows between poses allowing you to link movement with breath. Be ready to explore some deeper stretches, back bends and forward bends and possibly explore some arm balances and challenging balancing poses! Some experience recommended. New students keep in mind that it may take a few times practicing to become accustomed to the hot yoga room and the practice in general.

PRENATAL YOGA

This non-heated class is open to all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy, and up to 3 months post-natal (with health care providers consent). Gentle and modified to suit individual needs, yet a good full body workout. Emphasis on breath and connection to baby.

RESTORATIVE

In a Restorative class, you can expect to use props such as bolsters and blankets to support the body in the pose. It is about nurturing your mind, body and spirit. Once in restorative postures, the need for the muscles to exert any effort is reduced or eliminated. The result is a release of muscular tension. The mind can then go into a relaxed stated, allowing the nervous system to balance and promoting energy flow through the body. Relaxation is known to boost immune response, therefore giving the physical body the opportunity to heal and repair.

HOT YOGA

A Hatha based hot yoga class with roughly 40-50 posture, aimed at strengthening and opening the body. The class begins with a variety of warm up poses and moves throughout a fairly basic yet challenging first half of class. The second half of class takes the practice to the mat moving into some deeper stretches, back bends and forward bends. This class is available to any level of practice. New students keep in mind that it may take a few times practicing to become accustomed to the hot yoga room and the practice in general. Stay well hydrated before and after class, take plenty of breaks during class while getting accustomed to the heat, and feel free to drink water anytime during class.

One of the key elements of Core Strength Vinyasa is the wave-like movements. In this yoga practice, the definition of the physical core goes beyond the abdominal muscles to include the interconnecting muscle lines throughout the body that comprise the muscular support system. Core Yoga is movements and sequences that focus core-generated alignment. By working from this deep-muscle and inner-focus core, Core Yoga improves both physical and mental stability and, results in a quicker and more efficient transformation of the body and mind, including confidence and self-awareness.

HOT YOGA

Hot yoga is a term that describes a number of different styles of yoga with one common element – they are all practiced in heated rooms with the temperature usually between 85 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit with an elevated humidity level.

The purpose of hot yoga is to encourage sweating, which is believed to detoxify the body, as well as improve flexibility, boost stamina, improve overall fitness, burn calories, relieve stress and increase circulation.

The Reformer is the most popular Pilates apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates. It consists of a carriage that moves back and forth along tracks within a frame. … Despite the somewhat medieval name, the Pilates reformer is actually an amazingly elegant apparatus. A wide variety of exercises are done on the reformer to promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance. Most Pilates reformer exercises have to do with pushing or pulling the carriage or holding the carriage steady during an exercise as it is pulled on by the springs.

Prenatal yoga is a style designed for pregnant women to practice, regardless of their due date. The mixture of stretching, controlled breathing and mental focus offers a variety of benefits to expectant mothers. This form of yoga can also increase strength and flexibility in the muscles used during childbirth. Prenatal yoga may reduce stress levels and improve sleep patterns during pregnancy. It may also alleviate physical discomfort such as nausea, headaches and lower back pain. Another benefit typically associated with this type of yoga is the way in which the breathing techniques and state of self-awareness learned can help during delivery.

Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It’s a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. Throughout the class the instructor will offer Kundalini Reiki energy healing to the entire class and on students individually.

TRX SUSPENSION

TRX System. TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.
